Nick Cayou leads Global Alliances for Pivotal Software. He is responsible for Pivotal’s strategic partnerships, systems integrator partnerships, and channels.
Prior to Pivotal, Nick led emerging technology business development for the EMC Data Computing Division after EMC’s acquisition of Greenplum in 2010. Nick has 20 years of experience in the technology industry and has held roles in engineering, business development, sales and consulting at McDATA Corp (IPO’d in 2000), Kidaro (acquired by Microsoft in 2008), Greenplum (acquired by EMC in 2010), Cisco Systems and a number of technology start-ups.
Prior to his career in the private sector, Nick served in the US Air Force for 8 years supporting intelligence operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
